Mother's Day Moon Tea Making Workshop

  • Subtle Senses 1820 Hyperion Avenue Los Angeles, CA, 90027 United States (map)

A Sensory Experience in Ritual, Flavor, and Presence

$55

This workshop is designed as a guided, hands-on experience where participants explore the art of tea blending through a sensory and intentional lens.

More than learning to make tea, the experience invites participants to slow down, engage their senses, and connect with the process of creating something both nourishing and personal. Through scent, texture, and taste, tea becomes a medium for presence, creativity, and subtle restoration.

Experience Flow

A brief intro to practices and rituals practiced by indigenous and shamanic cultures all over the world relating to the Moon. We’ll explore how intention, community and presence was a powerful tool for connection to oneself and community.

Communal Practice

A guided group experience to ground and drop into the space. A relaxing visual meditation will flow into a harmonic sound bath. Tea + Botanicals

An overview of different herbs, flowers, and base teas, including:

flavor profiles
traditional uses
simple pairing principles
Participants are invited to explore each ingredient through scent and taste.

Hands-On Blending
Each participant creates their own custom tea blend, guided by:

flavor intuition
desired experience (calming, uplifting, grounding)
balance of ingredients
Support is offered throughout, while still allowing for personal creativity.

Brewing + Tasting
Participants brew their blends and experience the tea they’ve created—noticing flavor, aroma, and how it feels in the body.

Closing + Integration
A gentle closing moment to reflect, share (optional), and ground the experience before transitioning out.
